Woman fashion in the 2000's moved away from the conservative styles and more towards dressy out there trends highlight femininity. The motto was do what you want wear what you want. From the early 2000's onwards woman wore denim mini skirts, hip hop inspired sweatpants, ripped distressed jeans ,high healed flip flops and tank tops, tank tops, tank tops. Colors such as baby blue, yellows and hot pinks were coming more and more into fashion.
Casual wear consisted of over-sized sunglasses, large hoop earrings and jeans for every occasion. Jandels with wedges on them, hot pants, tube tops and denim jackets. Going out wear consisted of halter tops, sequined pants and embroidered and sequinned tops along with the famous pearl printed black cocktail dress by Karen Walker, which was successful worldwide.
